Artist Bio:
In 2000 Jesse Auersalo began his studies at The University of Art and Design Helsinki, and in 2003 founded the art & communication agency, Vänskap, which is currently working for clients such as Adidas, Music Television, 2K by Gingham, Colette, Harper & Collins, Eskimo Recordings, Service Records and the Finnish Broadcasting Company- Yle. As a solo project in 2005, he created the graphic identity for the Finnish music tour Sounds Like Suomi, which took place in the largest cities in China including Peking, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. In the last years, he has illustrated magazines like Grafik, Odd At Large, Kasino A4, Image, Muoto, Veli, Hufvudstadsbladet, Happi, Kerho and Nöjesguiden. He has also worked for Finnish advertising agencies such as Kaisaniemen Dynamo, TBWATequila, W.Steinmann, and the television broadcasting company AXN! Oy. Jesse currently lives and works in London as an freelance illustrator. The agencies he works with are PEKKA and BIG ACTIVE.
